The InterGuide™ is a first-of-its-kind system designed to support Wireline activities and heavy Wireline risers.
Its entirely mechanical, non-hydraulic functionality provides you with a simple, robust, and user-friendly intervention device that de-risks interventions, reduces downtime, and helps you achieve significant OPEX savings.
CHALLENGING CONVENTION FOR SAFER WIRELINE OPERATIONS
The traditional method for handling heavy 2-3-tonne Wireline lubricators involves pulling ropes, strops, and manual pushing or pulling from the crew, which poses significant safety risks. During these opertations, crews are exposed to working under suspended loads, dropped object hazards, and potential back, hand, and finger crush injuries.
Damaging the connection O-rings during the process of stabbing back on the lubricator sections is also too common an occurrence, leading to unnecessary non-productive time (NPT).
The InterGuide™ eliminates the need for manual lubricator handling, significantly reducing risk to personnel and equipment. It enables faster and safer tool change-outs, improving operational efficiency, minimising downtime, and helping to lower OPEX.

HOW IT WORKS
When the tugger line lifts the Wireline lubricator, the InterGuide™ lifts with it by 31”, allowing the toolstring to be clamped and disconnected safely.
A further 18” lift rotates the InterGuide™ 90° to the left, swinging the lubricator aside without any manual rope pulling or physical repositioning. The Wireline crew changes tools, and the lubricator is lowered and automatically rotated into position for reconnection.
The InterGuide™ operates without hydraulics or powered intervention, making it a simple, robust solution to eliminate manual handling. It’s easy to integrate into any rig-up (from platform drill floors to semi-sub rigs or even wireline masts) with minimal setup and no complex rig-up.
