InterLift™ Shortlisted for Prestigious Well Intervention Prize

Following its launch in early 2024 and subsequent deployment to two major North Sea Operators, we are delighted to announce that our revolutionary safety system, InterLift™, has been shortlisted for the 2024 ICoTA Award for Innovation & Technology.

Red zones located on a platform or drilling rig present a significant risk in this regard due to the frequent presence of suspended loads. For example, up to now, Wireline operations have required a mast to lift the lubricator into place for securing onto the Wireline valve, making and breaking toolstrings, and rigging down the lubricator once the operation is complete.

The Inter-Lift™ addresses this industry-wide safety challenge by removing the need for a mast altogether, thereby eliminating suspended loads and enhancing red zone management. Comprising a fail-safe hydraulic ram connected directly to a specialised BOP and lubricator, this revolutionary safety system provides well-to-well transfer in a single lift while drastically reducing risk, time, cost and environmental impact.

Managing Director Bronson Larkins commented:

"From speaking to Operators and Service Companies, we knew that action needed to be taken to mitigate the risks presented in red zones offshore. Collaborating with Operators, our team remained dedicated to developing a solution that eliminates suspended loads in Wireline operations, and, therefore, the InterLift™ was born.

"Since its launch, we've already witnessed tremendous results from its deployments offshore, and more Operators and Service Companies now plan to use the system to revolutionise their own intervention operations. Being recognised by such a prestigious association as ICoTA Europe is the cherry on the cake for us, and we are honoured to be nominated for this award."
